I assemble the fire pit in under a minute.
It’s made exclusively out of 304 stainless steel and ceramic coated aluminum.
We tested pre-seasoned carbon steel for the griddle and it required regular maintenance. We opted for 304 stainless steel as it offered excellent corrosion resistance which is extremely important for outdoor cooking. You can leave the grill and griddle out all weekend without worrying about rust or corrosion. In fact, ours is usually sitting out at home.
Our cooking surface handles are made out of maple. We chose this hard wood for its durability and its natural heat resistant properties. The wood does not have any coatings or finishings on it. Although not required, you could finish the wood handles yourself.
Yes, all metals subject to heat will warp. We have specifically designed the road grill to function flawlessly even after some warpage.
