No-Prep Camp Burgers
When the lake is calm, the boats are drifting quietly in the distance, and there’s time to slow down, dinner doesn’t need to be complicated. These No-Prep Camp Burgers are exactly what they sound like. Zero prep, minimal cleanup, and real food cooked over charcoal on the Road Grill.
This is fast food done the dirt road way. Frozen patties straight from the cooler, seasoned simply, cooked over briquettes, and stacked into a burger that actually fills you up. No sides needed. Just a peaceful campsite, a hot grill, and dinner by the water.
Ingredients
- Frozen hamburger patties
- Salt
- Black pepper
- Garlic powder
- Cheddar cheese slices
- Burger buns
Toppings Used
- BBQ sauce
- Mayonnaise
- Banana peppers
- Pickles
- Sliced onion
- Spinach
Instructions
- Set up your Road Grill and build a bed of hot charcoal briquettes. Let them burn down until they are evenly hot and ready for cooking.
- Place the frozen hamburger patties directly on the grill. No thawing needed.
- Season the top side of each patty with salt, pepper, and garlic powder. Flip and season the second side the same way.
- Cook until the patties are browned and cooked through, flipping as needed.
- During the final minutes of cooking, place a slice of cheddar cheese on each patty and allow it to melt.
- Split the buns and toast them cut side down on the grill until lightly golden.
- Build your burgers with BBQ sauce, mayo, banana peppers, pickles, onion, and spinach.
- Serve hot and enjoy right by the water.
